Introducing
Flourish Life Group

Flourish Life Group has been on a remarkable journey for two years. Their leader, Serena Saurini, observed their discussions often revolved around the joys and challenges of parenting and daily life. Recognising these women's busy lives and commitments, Serena found a study directly addressing their needs. The seven-week course, “The Overwhelmed Mum,” is designed to help them integrate God into their parenting decisions, find peace in His presence, and seek His guidance in times of struggle.
Serena explains that the last section of the study was the hardest for her. As a person God has gifted in administration, it is sometimes easy to push God back to the side lines and keep going in her direction. This supportive group encourages each other and reminds Serena of how they have observed her reliance on God.
As the study progresses, the women realise they are not alone in their doubts, fears, or flaws. Sharing their everyday struggles, accomplishments, and everything in between sustains them and is a powerful tool for growth. The most crucial aspect for the group is to create a safe space to support each other through fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and a good laugh!
Support for Emilie and Nick White as they prepare for a two-week mission to Nepal in the coming weeks has seen the group serving the wider community. Nick and his family are raising funds for a trip to Nepal, where he will administer dental care, and funds will assist in constructing an earthquake-proof school roof in Harphan village.
