HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THIS POSITION?
2 or 3 years

WHAT DOES YOUR POSITION INCLUDE?
Setting up and serving dinner every Monday, organising haberdashery, shopping, picking up clothing, bedding, donations. Supporting the Kindness Works team for fundraising events. (Generally if there's a need in StreetWorks, Linda will fill it!)

WHAT IS A HIGHLIGHT SERVING IN THIS ROLE?
Each day brings many excitingly different highlights, spiritually, practically, and humorously, with so many amazingly unique characters.
I love helping our people in the Haberdashery. (clothes, shoes, toiletries, linen , store room).
So many laughs, plus meaningful disclosures and discussions...
Gentle encouragement gradually instils trust and a deeper level of communication and relationship.
These precious people experience God's love, knowing they are genuinely respected, listened to, valued, and accepted for who they are, and where they are at, creating a family environment, of which I am privileged to play a part.
