Ministry Sign On
Build Your Church LORD!

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

Last Sunday we had a focus on signing up for ministries within the life of HBBC.
We were encouraged through the Word of God to keep going and not give up as we serve God.
We were encouraged to seek out an area of ministry to serve God with the gifts He has given us.
We watched, as we were reminded, (quite comically from a day in the life of Brian. Phew), that one person can't do it all.
The result?
We were encouraged by a buzz of enthusiasm after the service as people explored the display tables, with many signing up for the first time since joining HBBC in recent times.
We were encouraged as many regular volunteers recommitted themselves to serving in their current ministries. One comment "Already on team & I love it!"
We were encouraged that some people watching online, when hearing about the displays in the announcements, decided that they had to then come in person to see the displays and sign up!
We were encouraged that no matter the age or skill level, our church family want to step in and 'give something a go' for the Kingdom.
We were encouraged that even if people can't serve on a regular basis, that they were wanting to offer their time for one off needs.
We were encouraged that people are catching the vision of how we can make a difference in Hervey Bay as we provide a place of worship, open to anyone who wants to explore faith and find encouragement through a church who love God and love others.

We pray you will be encouraged too,
as you step into, or continue on, in ministry at HBBC
