Missions and Ministry

It's a privilege to pray and journey with our mission partners over their years of service on the mission field.

This week, Max & Helen Sahl have sent us some points for prayer. Please join us in upholding the mission of Wycliffe to enable communities worldwide to encounter God in languages that speak to their hearts.

Points for prayer:

• Thank God that we have the scriptures in our own language. Here is a story of the power of God's word in changing lives. https://wycliffe.org.au/the-ripple-effect-of-scripture-engagement/
  

• Thank God for churches worldwide who are picking up the task of Bible translation for their people. Pray for them in this as Bible translation requires much perseverance.

• Thank God for the people we are communicating with who are asking God how they can be involved in Bible Translation.

• You have prayed for people to help at our National Office before, and God has answered those prayers. People come and go, and we are currently in need of more personnel to keep our National Centre running, (particularly Grounds and Maintenance, and HR) as well as people working in the different states of Australia to promote Bible Translation.

• Please pray as we speak at schools, Bible colleges and churches, advocating for the people of the world who don't have any scripture in their language.
