Young Adult Camp

Our annual Young Adults' camp is a real highlight of the year! From a fellowship and relationship building perspective, it’s like six months of life groups packed into a long weekend. For the YAs that are new to our church, it is a great opportunity in the first half of the year to really get to know people and connect as we open God’s Word together and enjoy beautiful Kenilworth.
This year the camp theme is “Forgiveness.” Please pray that as we think about our God of mercy and justice becoming our forgiving saviour, that the YAs will grow in how they forgive others. In today’s ‘cancel culture’ this is as relevant as ever, and I’m prayerfully expecting God to use this camp to really challenge my own heart as well as those of the YAs.
This camp has been so worthwhile for the last few years and has brought a lot of energy and growth to our YAs group.

- Pray that God will use this weekend as an opportunity to grow His Kingdom. Reflecting on God’s forgiveness and how that works out in our relationships could get heavy!
- Would you consider financially supporting some of our young people who cannot afford to pay for camp? We are having a fundraiser event after church this week, so come prepared for a sausage sizzle and some baked goods! All donations will go towards getting young adults to camp.
