Ministry through hospitality
“We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word.”

Whether we serve in a visible, or behind-the-scene capacity, every believer's contribution is essential to help the gospel to spread, furthering God's kingdom.
And hospitality, offered as a Spirit filled believer, plays a vital role in this.
From the recent addition in our Friday night program serving dinner to around 100 people, to breakfast served by the men to honour 130+ women, to our morning tea served every Sunday after a church service, or a coffee beforehand; each of these opportunities supports our mission of making disciples and seeing transformed lives, creating space to journey together, share our lives and encourage, pray or just listen to those around us.
It takes a large team to do this and we want to thank every individual who plays a part, whether it's serving on the barista team, the kitchen team, helping Friday nights, or joining the men to help serve a monthly breakfast.
And the good news is........there's still space to add more to our teams!
If you would like to jump in and use the gifts God has blessed you with, to bless Him and others, then we'd love to talk. We have plenty of room, whether it be short term, weekly, or once or twice a month, please send an email to office@hbbc.com.au. We'd love to have a chat and see you flourish, as together we live our lives reflecting Christ....and showing hospitality.
