"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…"
Ephesians 3:20:
Prayers for Mark Payne and Philip Wells:
Thank You for their servant hearts, Lord. We pray their work beautifully reflects Your love. May both these ministries continue to help our church and community experience the care, hope, and transforming love of Christ.

Mark Payne - COACH Coordinator
  • Give thanks and pray God’s blessing on this important ministry as it continues under Mark’s leadership (commencing Feb 24).  Pray God grants Mark wisdom, vision, patience and strength, compassion, and clarity as he leads this ministry.

  • Pray that through COACH, youth and families in challenging circumstances find hope, dignity, and practical support, leading to their growth and flourishing.

  • Pray for both youth and family mentors - that God would equip them with patience, insight, and loving hearts as they prepare to walk alongside participants. also pray for more mentors to sign up as a result of the March training.

  • Pray for participants, that doors open for the right people and lives are strengthened, relationships restored, and hardship cycles broken through faithful mentoring.

  • Ask that Christ’s love would be evident in every mentoring relationship and that the ministry would strengthen families and our wider community.

Philip Wells - Pastoral Care Coordinator
  • Give thanks that Philip has committed himself to be the Pastoral Care Coordinator. Pray that God grants him wisdom, grace, and discernment as he oversees the Pastoral Care ministry of our church.

  • Pray that our Pastoral Care ministry would reflect the heart of Christ - loving, attentive, and compassionate toward those facing illness, grief, loneliness, or spiritual struggle.

  • Pray that Philip and the Pastoral Care team would be strengthened and encouraged as they serve, and that they would know God’s guidance in supporting people through life’s challenges.  Ask that our whole congregation would grow in mutual care, prayer, and encouragement, sharing responsibility in loving and supporting one another.
