Night Church

On the first Sunday night of the month we have a night church service.

The vision for this came out of the need to give another option for worship to those who miss morning church because of work or because of ministry commitments. It also provides a slightly different style and vibe of church for those who like the small intimate setting. In addition to this, it is a good opportunity to train up younger musicians, singers, and preachers who might otherwise be overwhelmed by the larger congregation.

These services are simple, with a short worship set and a Bible based message. But the smaller number, the nighttime setting, and the air conditioning, gives a special ambience to the experience which many love.

On average 30-50 people attend and are of mixed ages. Many of these are regular to the Sunday Night church. Some will come in the morning as well as the evening. Occasionally we have visitors as well. Some of our young adults even go off to have dinner afterward.

Josh Painter heads up the worship team and Jai Lambden is welcomer and MC for the services. Pastor Brett oversees the spiritual input. We usually remind people through refresh and announcements when night church is on, but usually the first Sunday of the month at 6:30pm in conference room 1.
