Your Kingdom Come

The Lord's Prayer - Week 4
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Matthew 6:9-13

As the Lord’s Prayer draws to a close, we ask for God’s protection in our daily lives and reaffirm our confidence in His everlasting kingdom.
“Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
A prayer for protection and strength. We ask the Lord to guard our hearts and minds, to strengthen us against temptation, and to protect our congregation from the schemes of the enemy.
“For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.”
A declaration of confidence and hope. We end where we began — with God. All authority, power, and glory belong to Him. Our trust is in His unshakable rule, today and always.
