May Missions Prayer Focus

HBBC May Mission Month 2026
HBBC has a strong focus supporting those who are called out share God’s word both locally and internationally.
As a Sending Church, we currently support 4 long term missionaries in both financial and prayer support
HBBC also provides ongoing prayer and physical support to the following ministries:
Locally - Kindness Works, Chaplaincy and Christian Religious Instruction.
Each week will focus on an area, and we are excited to be able to share with you some opportunities for short term teams to go from here, mainly to PNG and Fiji in the coming 12 months.
The Prayer Calendar will include all these missionaries and outreaches to pray for.
A paper copy will also be available from the church on Sunday.
There will be an opportunity to contribute to our special May Mission Project via Penny Pig and online. This year’s project will be to support those teams going out on short term mission over the next year.

Prayer Points
Week 1, Sun 3rd – Sat 9th May
Fiji Bible College (Ambassadors for Christ- South Pacific)
- We continue to look to the Lord for our needs. He has faithfully provided year after year, and we are reminded again that our hope and help are found in Him alone. We humbly ask you to join us in prayer—that God would supply what is needed to equip students, serve the poor, and proclaim Christ throughout the South Pacific until He comes. (We lift our eyes to the hills—from where does our help come? Our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.)
- Pray for God’s leading as we work to send a team from HBBC to assist with children’s ministry later this year.
FIJI Short-Term service opportunity (Youth With A Mission)
- Pray that this will be an opportunity for us to partner with YWAM ministries in FIJI as planning starts to take shape for April 2027
- A team from HBBC to spend 1 week assisting with Dental/Medical clinics and sharing Gods word in villages where these services are not available or are expensive
