Young @ Heart Life Group
Reflections from the Christmas in July Morning Tea
From Heather:
It’s hard in a big church to meet and form friendships. I felt lead by the Holy Spirit to get more over 60s together. I was so happy when our Bible study group wanted to get Young at Heart started. Friday's Young at Hearts get together, really helped people to feel a part of Gods family. I think it could go longer than 2 hours as it felt too quick. Maybe 2 1/2 or 3 hrs. I have had so many people thanking our Life Group and saying how much they enjoyed it.

To me it was crystal clear, THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS LEADING THE MORNING. THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT.

Iris is a lovely nonagenerian who sat at our table at Young @ Heart. She gave Bri a big hug on Sunday and told us she had found 2 new friends. I think Heather's raison d'être for Young @ Heart was accomplished for Iris.

Given all the comments from our Life Group members who have shared, my greatest encouragement is the fact that we as a group were single minded in sharing the vision of developing a fellowship event. We/they all worked together with a single purpose, and that I believe is exactly how the body of Christ should operate with each sharing from within their own gifting.
