Creche Coordinator
Introducing HBBC’s New Creche Coordinator, Lucinda Mehlert.
Hi, I’m Lucinda. I’m a wife to Andrew, a mum of two young children, and your new Creche Coordinator.
Although we’re a relatively new family here, I’ve spent plenty of time in the creche and at playgroups, and I chose to take on this role because I genuinely care about the wellbeing of new parents and their children.
This is especially close to my heart because, four years ago, I lost my mum to terminal cancer when I was just four months postpartum. That season taught me how much the right support and genuine connection can mean to a young family, and it’s something I hope to help create for others.
To all the parents, I hope to meet you and your beautiful children soon. If you’re returning to the service, I’m very happy to work with you to gradually help your child feel comfortable staying with our wonderful volunteers.
And finally, if you’d like to give the gift of a little break to some sleep-deprived parents, or if you simply enjoy looking after little ones as much as I do, I’d love to hear from you.
