Fiji Bible College
Fiji Bible College is making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals, churches and communities throughout Fiji and the wider Pacific. Through biblical education, practical ministry training and outreach, the college is equipping men and women to know God's Word, share the gospel and faithfully serve others.
The college recently celebrated its largest-ever enrolment in its Master's program, with 26 students undertaking studies in either the Master of Ministry or Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. Many of these students are already serving in pastoral ministry and Christian leadership across Fiji and the Pacific.
The impact of this training can be seen in local communities. One wonderful example is the growing Bible church in Rakiraki. What began several years ago with a small group of children receiving Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes Hearing the gospel has developed into a church fellowship of more than 20 adults and children. Three children's clubs are now operating in the area, and a former Bible College student, Krishneel, is now serving there as the full-time pastor alongside his family.
The college's influence also extends through evangelism and community outreach. Recently, eight people were baptised after coming to faith through various outreach ministries, including Christian Helps. A team travelling to Labasa also conducted a three-day children's Bible program, where 13 children professed faith in Christ.
These stories demonstrate why biblical training matters. It is not simply about gaining qualifications, but about preparing people to teach God's Word, lead churches, share the good news of Jesus and disciple others in their faith.
As the college approaches its 52nd graduation on 7 November, we give thanks for the students, teachers and ministry teams who faithfully invest in the next generation of Christian leaders.
The Two Birds Catalogue provides the opportunity to provide support to the next generation of Christian leaders in the South Pacific region since 1974.
