Looking Back: Pentecost Service
Two weeks ago we met as THE CHURCH of Hervey Bay as the various groups came together for our Pentecost service. God was clearly present, and these are some excerpts of the responses from various ministers.
We often use the phrase 'God is at work' because it is true and we know He never stops working. But there are times we are privileged to see His hand revealed in very tangible ways, and this inspires us even more. The unity of the church of Jesus Christ is not an optional extra, but the very expressed prayer and heart's desire of Jesus in John 17.
We can support it and work towards protecting it by honouring one another, praying for one another and esteeming others better than ourselves. Thank you to all who were part of the time. Keep in step with the Spirit!
Every blessing,

- It was a great night and always good to come together in unity
- WOW! That's my first thought when reflecting on our time. We were only too happy to be part of THE CHURCH in Hervey Bay coming together. I wonder what the Spirit would say to the church.
- A great time of blessing and challenge to take the gospel of Jesus wherever we may go. When Marmour started singing I know I had tears and Max, your stories of God at work around the world were enthralling. The songs were spot on and everyone played their part perfectly. May we all continue to sit with the challenge.
- As we pick up the challenges before us, I pray that each of the churches will know the true and genuine work of the Holy Spirit that transforms lives and grows his kingdom.
