My wife Mariam and I have been at Hervey Bay since 2019, moving up from Brisbane where we went to university. We are blessed with two young children, Leila and Caleb, who keep us very busy!
In my spare time, I’m a GP at one of the local clinics.
I had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home, and have been particularly involved in bible study and worship ministry from my teens, and these remain areas I am passionate about. As a university student, being involved with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students had an enormous impact on my personal faith journey. I was humbled to be nominated as an Elder at HBBC in 2021.
I’m a frustrated fan of the Brisbane Broncos, and a cricket tragic, although my own skill with both bat and ball leaves a lot to be desired.
