Introducing

Hi! I’m Suzanka and I feel like I’ve been around Hervey Bay Baptist Church a long time. In fact, I first came to this church in 1998 when I came with my family from Hawaii. My brother said it was the best place for us to go to church, and he was right. The first service had an American dude leading the worship team. It was great, the church was full of life, Keith was the preacher at that time & there was Sunday Night Live and so many stories of how God had changed lives.

I used to be a high school teacher, but found being a business manager of schools was more my gifting. So now I’ve been looking after the finances of the church for eighteen years and just loving being part of a creative team of people who are always striving to do their best as we follow Jesus.

I also love being part of the Welcoming & Worship teams. I love seeing & hearing of all the wonderful & miraculous things that continue to happen in our community. Aren’t we blessed, for our help has, and will, come from the Lord.
