I was born in Greensborough, Victoria, back in the 50’s. I’ve lived all throughout Victoria for most of my adult life, and made the move to Hervey Bay in 2000. I started following Jesus when I was around 40-years-old. I had always recognised God, but didn’t really know how it all linked back to Jesus. What a relief to finally figure it all out and have the veil lifted!
My family is a true blessing in my life. My wife Robyn and I have two grown children – Tanya and Bradley – and one step-daughter, Tracey, who lives in Hervey Bay.
The only pets are a lot of goldfish in a pond!!
Robyn and I have been attending HBBC since 2007, and decided to make it home. We really enjoyed the friendly welcome we received at the beginning, and have been attending ever since. This church has a strong missional focus, and that’s one of the things we love most.
I volunteer my time with HBBC two days a week, doing odd jobs, and helping out where needed with the paperwork.
If I had to pick one part of Jesus’ ministry that I love the most, it would be the Beatitudes that he delivered in Matthew 5. I think they are a great blessing to live by.
If I could choose anywhere in the world to go, it would be a quiet tropical island where I could live a simple life and have time to contemplate God in all his awesomeness. But I must say, that beyond that, I would love the opportunity to see the sites where Jesus spent his ministry years.
