HBBC Playgroup Team

Playgroup is run at our church every Thursday during school term from 9:00 - 11:00am. With a huge room of toys, crafts, books and space to ride bikes; along with our outdoor playground, bike track and sandpit, there is much for children to explore. From newborn to pre-schoolers, our program has time for play & craft, along with structured times for stories, songs and morning tea together.
As a Playgroup team our prayer is to be used by God as we build relationships with families. Serving in Playgroup is very rewarding because God is working and lives are being transformed as we share the love of Jesus.
We try and create a relaxed space where families feel welcomed and friendships are formed. We want to provide care and support for families within the church and our community when there are so many pressures. It is a place to connect and belong and can provide a lifeline for families facing challenges in life. Families have been grateful for the support we have been able to offer.
Playgroup is a Mission Field that comes to Hervey Bay Baptist and it is a privilege to serve God here. All we have to do is be available and allow ourselves to be used by God. We would love to see our team grow in numbers as we continue to bless our community. Please speak to me to see how you can get involved.
