Do we intend to live a life without regret? The apostle Paul writes a number of times in his letters about what the most important thing in life is. For him, it was to live his life for Jesus. He knew that at the end of life he would receive a reward from God and a wonderful eternal inheritance of sharing in God’s glory. That is why living for Jesus was the only thing that really mattered for him.

To be so single focused can sound a bit overwhelming for some or even too narrow for others. But the good news is that Jesus promises a rich and full life for those who put him first. If you live for him as first priority, everything else seems to get taken care of. You won’t lose out. Nor will you experience regret when you look back. I want to challenge you to consider where Jesus fits in your priority list.
