Doing Life Together

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Ephesians 4:16
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
Ephesians 4:16
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
These are two verses that Jeannie has appreciated in her life, as she shared her reflections on what it means to be a part of Life Groups.
Jeannie's thoughts...
- Connecting with others.
- Develops a Oneness.
- The ability to invite others to be a part of ‘The Group’.
- Acceptance given & friendships formed.
- No one is alone.
Life Groups are a place to share the highs and lows of every-day life. A place where prayer & laughter happens. Often sharing food & drinks together. This is fellowship.
I still have connections & contact with folk from my very first “Bible Study” groups. Now that is over 40 years ago!!!! Whatever groups I could join; I joined. Be it Young Mum’s. General church Bible Study. KYB. Music Groups. Craft Groups.
Groups are so important in a Large Church:
1. Stimulating for Spiritual growth
2. Encouraging & Connecting with others
3. Accountability
4. Support. Everyone has Mountain Top times & Valley times.
5. Valued friendships are formed
6. Sharing laughter & tears
……. ”Doing Life Together” …….
Thank you for reminding us Jeannie of what God has blessed us with in being a part of His church!
